SRINAGAR: For the 4th consecutive time , a Kashmiri artist Zahoor Din Lone alias Zahoor Kashmiri was selected along with other Indian artists for the International Snow Sculpture Championship held in the US on January 22.

An official document from international snow sculpture organizer Breckenridge International has invited four artists to represent India in the competition held in Colorado, USA. Now this team has joined the US competition and participated to bring laurels back home .

zahoor Din Lone, from Patan village in Baramulla, Kashmir, is team leader l of the Indian snow sculpture team.

It is the 32nd edition of the International snow Sculpting Championship in Breckenridge, Colorado, United States. The organiser from Breckenridge has a history of inviting artists from around the world.

“It is an international competition that celebrates art, culture and the beautiful nature of snow,” said team leader Lone. “We are very happy to participate consecutively for the 4th time in International Snow Sculpture Championship at Breckenridge, Colorado, USA”, he added.

He said that representing Team India is a big achievement for them and they are very proud to get this opportunity especially including Zahoor two members are from Kashmir who believe this will inspire many other youth from there.

The players of four member team India are very eager and are expected to take awards to India and make the country proud.

The Players created very attractive snow sculptures in America throughout the day and night during the camp. The American snow sculpture coaches praised Team India.
