SRINAGAR : The staff of Trauma Hospital in Anantnag is allegedly without pending salaries.
Doctors and paramedics who were recruited for setting up trauma centre of District Hospital (DH) Anantnag said that despite being on the forefront for trauma patients the staff have not been paid their legitimately earned salary of last 20 months.
They said that it has not only demoralized them but their family members are also suffering for no fault of theirs.
The trauma Centre of DH Anantnag was set up in the year 2013 so as to augment the facilities for better care and treatment of trauma patients. DH Anantnag is an immediate referral hospital for trauma patients as the National highway passes through Anantnag.
In addition to that it also caters adjoining areas of Kulgam, Ramban and Banihal The recent early management of injured yatra patients was possible only because of active and vibrant doctors and paramedics employed for the same.
