SRINAGAR: Commenting on the worst condition of Veerinag Omoh Jawahar Tunnel and Veerinag Feeder Road, J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G. A. Mir todat said that people living left and right sides of these roads are facing great difficulties due to the worst condition of these roads, which has become a cause of worryvtobthe entire population living adjacent to these vital roads.
G. A. Mir who was on tour to Verinag Constituency was approached by the respectable citizens in connection with the macdamization and construction of these vital roads.
The delegation of respectable citizens complained to President that the Govt is not sensitive to their problems; as a result, they were facing multiple health problems due to the dust spreading out of the Vehicular traffic on these roads.
Expressing serious concern over the lackadaisical attitude of the Govt towards the people. G. A. Mir sought clarity from the Govt as to why Govt has miserably failed to initiate action with regards to construction and macdamization of these vital roads saying that it seems that Govt is punishing people under the garb of construction or macdamization of roads.
He added that Govt must take effective measures to address the genuine problems confronting people. G. A. Mir emphasized that immediate macdamization and construction of Verinag Omoh -Jawahar Tunnel Road and Veerinage Feeder Road must be taken up on priority basis in order to ensure redressal of grievances of people.
