SRINAGAR :  The joint resistance leadership has called complete shutdown on March 10 against the civilian killing in Pulwama. Asking people to observe complete shutdown on March 10 & protests after Friday prayer on March 11, Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik expressed their grief over killing of a student Amir Nazir Wani.

Blaming Indian forces for their brutalities, the leaders said that they are desperate to muzzle the genuine voices through the barrel of gun.

Pro- freedom leaders paid their tribute to slain youth in Padgampora Pulwama and said that the tenacious and stubborn attitude of Indian authorities is the root cause of uncertainty and bloodshed in the region.

They through their revengeful activities are targeting unarmed and innocent civilians, said resistance leadership. These brutalities tantamount to war crimes, said they while condemning the forces action against innocent civilians.

“These brutalities won’t break our resolve”, said leadership and referring to the people’s determination with the movement, said that it is an extra ordinary valour depicted by civilians that despite dangers involved near encounter sites they fearlessly display their passion for brave hearts.

“It is not a law and order problem said leadership. It is people’s movement and one and all share their responsibility towards Kashmir issue”, they said.

“Instead of accepting the ground realities, they are killing civilians”, said leadership while referring to Indian forces and their allies.

“The properties are blasted and ransacked”, they said, adding that it has led to complete chaos and political uncertainty in the state.

In a joint address to Indian leadership, they said that they need to heed the screams of people, honour their aspirations and avoid military might against innocents.
