SRINAGAR: The challans are being allegedly issued on piece of paper in-spite of authorized departmental challan paper in Srinagar, which is an violation of rules committed by the traffic police personals.

A commuter namely Sahil Ahmad while talking to the Kashmir News Bureau stated that he was issued challan on the simple paper without any validation on it.
He further stated that he had all the documents (scanned) adding that despite his pleas the cops had no answers. Pertinently, he had been issued a challan on a plan paper at Iqbal park. Despite repeated attempts to call traffic SSP Tahir Saleem could not be reached. (KNB)
