Pampore : Braving all odds, a young passionate writer from the saffron town of Pampore in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district has made his parents and people of his native district proud by making it to the India book of records.
Saraf Ali, has published two books so far. He has already got the first slot in global reader’s choice and is now making the India book of records. Ali has become the first young author from the Southern district of Pulwama to achieve this feat.
Ali, a promising engineer belonging to Pampore town and has so far published two books that evoked a great response and helped him to earn a big name globally.
Ali has received an appreciation along with 50 dollar from global readers choice award following which he was named in India book of records while the local writers have highly appreciated him.
Ali said that in Kashmir the absence of the internet is a major hurdle for the creative content which writers need to learn from. “Since a lot depends on the internet but the encouragement from readers choice award and India book of records is a huge boost in life and career as well for me,” he said.
Ali said that he received the reader’s choice award in 2019 at the global level for his maiden book ‘Triggered Sorrows’.
“I recently received an apperception from India’s premier platform and made it to the Indian book of records. This is for the first time any young Kashmiri writer has made it this big at the national and international level,” he beamed.
Besides being an author and an engineering student, Ali mentioned his high passion for football in his writings since his childhood days—(KNO)
