Women Helpline Service holds awareness program in Ganderbal

Ganderbal :Jammu and Kashmir Women’s Helpline Service (181) which is a project of Ministry of Child care and Women’s Development initiated by State Resource for Women, Department of Social Welfare Jammu and Kashmir, organised an awareness camp at the Ganderbal in association with Jammu and Kashmir Rural Welfare Institution.
The purpose of the camp was to make aware professionals regarding the various services the organisation can provide to them on its helpline number—181and through Family Counseling services.
State Coordinator JK WHL (181) Bilal Bhat emphasis the the overall services provided by Women’s Helpline to the participants.
Giving details about the Women Helpline Service, Bilal Bhat said it is an initiative of the Government to provide 24 hour-immediate response to women affected by violence and represent them in front of appropriate authorities, including police and legal ones.
Awareness Campaign is going under the theme of “BALANCE FOR BETTER” among the College professionals for both Girls and Boys for better tomorrow and safety of Women.
Under the international theme of International Women Day “BALANCE FOR BETTER” today started its meaning and fundamentals in Kashmir through continuously Bhat Bilal – State Coordinator-Jammu and Kashmir Women’s HelpLine-181 and OSC’s.
Besides Subeeka Razvi, Mufeeda Samad giving details about the family counseling Center’s which includes Family Disputes and dowary demand. (KNS)
