Srinagar : Amid scorching heat, the weatherman here has predicted light to moderate rainfall in Jammu and Kashmir on from June 24.
Talking to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Deputy Director Meteorological department (MeT), Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad said that there is possibility of moderate rainfall in Jammu and light to moderate in Southern districts of Kashmir on June 24-25.
Ahmad further said that the plains of Kashmir as well as northern districts will possibly witness light rainfall on the particular dates.
The summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar recorded a temperature of 32.2 degree Celsius, officials said, adding that Pahalgam, a famous tourist resort recorded a temperature of 27.4 degree Celsius.
In north Kashmir’s Kupwara, Ganderbal, the temperature was 33.0 degree Celsius and 22.0 degree Celsius respectively—(KNO)
