SRINAGAR: Urging people to unite for a change Peoples United Front (PUF) leaders Dr. Shah Faesal, Er Rashid and Javid Mustafa have reiterated their resolve to provide an alternative to the traditional political parties.
Addressing a public gathering at Sumbal Sonawari today Dr. Shah Faesal promised a clean and neat political alternative which will come true to the expectations of masses. Dr. Faesal said “It is disgraceful that local politicians getting indulged in vote bank politics and do spend public money without caring for the purpose for which it is meant for.
People must come forward and become part of the change so that not only they get best governance but find a leadership that is capable of protecting their political rights as well. Be it article 35-A of 370 all conspiracies against special status of the state will be resisted tooth and nail”.
On the occasion Chairman Coordination committee PUF Javid Mustafa Mir appealed masse for unity and said that PUF will certainly emerge as a strong alternative, as the traditional parties have failed to deliver anything on the ground. AIP President Er. Rasheed cautioned New Delhi of its misadventures and said that Kashmiris have been suffering since 1947 till date for none of their fault.
Er. Rasheed said “Seeking resolution to Kashmir issue does not mean being a Pakistani agent or anti-national. We need not to seek [permission from anyone in New Delhi or Islamabad what to speak and when to speak as it is Kashmiris who matter first and most for the reason they are victims of circumstances and that of broken promises”.
Er. Rasheed lashed out at National conference and asked masses not to give a damn to the illogical utterances of NC leadership who have been changing their tunes and language from New Delhi to Srinagar every time. Besides others Dr. Gh. Mustafa, Tariq Rather and Qawam-din Shilwati also addressed the gathering. Later Er. Rasheed visited Gulmarg to express his solidarity with the victims of fire incident, who had lost 15 shops in a horrible fire incident.
Er. Rasheed while expressing sympathy with the victims talked to Governor’s secretariat and was assured by the administration that whatsoever required for rehabilitation of traders will be done by the government at an earliest. (PTK)
