Talking to UJC with sincerity is the only solution
Srinagar : Reacting to the war of words between Omer Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti over visiting militant families and who killed more militants in his or her tenure as Chief Minister, AIP President Er. Rasheed has called it the moral victory of militants and said that the truth and the circumstances are pushing two former Chief Ministers to show sympathy with those whom they killed mercilessly. In a statement to Valley Media Service Er Rasheed said “Be it Mehbooba Mufti visiting slain militant’s family or Omer Abdullah accusing her of being architect of Operation All Out, every word and action is ample proof to conclude that militants are enjoying huge popular support and the propaganda to label them as terrorists has no takers in Kashmir. No doubt it is for the masses to decide whether to believe the cunning and hypocritical words of Omer Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti but the fact is that their exchange of arguments and the debate so generated has itself proved that both the former Chief Ministers don’t have their any narrative, ideology or a vision but are just trying to regain their lost ground by praising militants and talking about atrocities on their families, without feeling any shame for the reason both of them have been ruthless in carrying genocide of Kashmiris”.
Er Rasheed appealed Mehbooba Mufti and Omer Abdullah either not to add salt to the injuries of militants and their families, as nothing lies in their hands, or must force New Delhi to agree to fulfill the promise of holding plebiscite in J&K.
“Unless Mehbooba Mufti and Omer Abdullah or someone else would not stop diluting Kashmir cause by giving out dated and Delhi made formulas like Autonomy and self-rule, Kashmiris will continue to die and even entire pro-resistance leadership may not be able to make a difference to end the bloodshed he said.
Kashmiris are not getting killed because they want to strengthen Omer Abdullah’s or Mehbooba Mufti’s vote Bank but for the reason that New Delhi is turning ruthless with every passing day”.
Er. Rasheed asked New Delhi to understand that if Mehbooba Mufti and Omer Abdullah need to show inclination towards militants and their families, though it has no takers, why should it not accept the ground realities and offer unconditional dialogue to United Jihad Council and other militant outfits who really matter, rather relying false hopes on Mehbooba Mufti, Omer Abdullah or someone else.
Er. Rasheed also accused Indian parliament of trying to mislead the Indian masses over situation in Kashmir during the debate in Rajya sabha and said that the Indian parliamentarians need to accept the reality and give Kashmiris right to self-determination. (VMS)
