‘No Holy Relic will be displayed this Mehraj Aalam’
Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Muslim Wakaf Board has decided to suspend religious prayers in shrines and mosques affiliated with it. The Board has also ordered to stop displaying Holy Relic on the occasion of Mehraj Aalam.
Chief Executive Officer, JK Muslim Wakaf Borad issued an order, a copy of which lies with KNT, that read: “In view of the outbreak of Coronavirus declared as pandemic by WHO and preventive measures to contain the spread of the virus in Kashmir Valley and subsequent imposition of restrictions by the district administration concerned, it is hereby ordered to suspended religious prayers in shrines and mosques affiliated with the Wakaf Board and displaying Holy Relic on the occasion of Mehraj Aalam celebrations.” (KNT)
