Hinting at de-escalation in the region, the US President Donald Trump on Thursday said he has some “reasonably decent” news from India and Pakistan.

“We have reasonably attractive news from Pakistan and India. They have been going at it and we have been involved in trying to have them stop. We have been in the middle trying to help them both out,” Trump said at a news conference in Vietnam after a second summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
“Hopefully its going to be coming to an end soon,”he added. However, he did not elaborate beyond this.
Tensions are high between the two countries following tit-for-tat air strikes over past couple of days.
