Unemployed MMPHWs seek jobs, highlight various demands

DODA : The Unemployed trained Male Multipurpose Health Workers (MMPHW) of Doda District under the banner of All J&K Unemployed Trained MMPHWs Association appealed J&K Govt, Health Minister and authorities Concerned to formulate a special employment policy to provide jobs under NHM and JKSSRB.

As per press statement issued, the demands were raised in a meeting of all Unemployed MMPHWs of the District which was held under the Chairmanship of District President Milap Singh.

The meeting highlighted various demands which included adjustment of all trained unemployed MMPHWs under National Health Mission (NHM) Scheme and JKSSRB and filling up of all vacant posts of MMPHWs in Health Department.

Milap said that as per Central and State Govt atleast one Sub Centre should have one male and one female health worker but maximum of health centres are running without MMPHWs thus by ignoring trained diploma holders.

Further Milap added that all the health centres are lying vacant without the post of MMPHW while a huge lot of trained MMPHWs are left frustrated without jobs as being ignored by the present regime.

The Unemployed MMPHWs of Doda District have urged upon the Chief Minister, Health Minister, Commissioner Secretary, Mission Director NHM and other concerned to intervene into the matter personally and pay special attention towards the genuine demands of Unemployed MMPHWs by filling all vacant post of them.
