According to wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the medical superintendent who was posted at district hospital Bandipora was transferred on December 10 last year but since then new MS has not been posted in the hospital.
Official sources told KNO the functioning of the hospital has been badly affected due to the non-availability of MS in the hospital for the past more than two months.
They said that the charge has been given to chief medical officer Bandipora and he has to look after two posts at the time which affects the smooth functioning of the hospital as well as his own office.
“It has been more than two months now that the MS was transferred and a new one is yet to be appointed. The functioning of the hospital has been badly affected as no official work is carried out smoothly without the post of MS. Even though the higher-ups have been intimated several times but posted is yet to be filled,” said a health official posted at DH Bandipora.
