Two minors slip to death in a canal in South Kashmir

Anantnag: Two minor kids slipped to death in a canal here in Kirhama Sirhama area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

Sources said that two kids were playing besides a canal when one of them slipped while another tried to save him also slipped into the canal and both drowned.

Police and locals launched an operation and the bodies of minor kids were retrieved.

A police official while confirmed the incident told news agency KNT that bodies of both the minors have been retrieved.

He identified them as Abrar Ahmed of Galan and Waseem Ahmed of Achadar Anantnag. (KNT)
