Trooper guarding former Ministers house in South Kashmir arrest ‘intruder’

Achabal: Para-military troopers guarding the house of former Congress party Pirzada Muhammad Sayed arrested a person while his associates managed to escape from the spot after they tried to barge the house of Pirzada at Damhal Khushipora area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

   Reports said that during the intervening night Thursday and Friday several unidentified persons tried to barge into the house of Pirzada Muhammad Sayed, however, CRPF guarding the house arrested one of them and handed him over to police.

    A police official told CNS that they are investigating the matter.

   Meanwhile, Congress party expressed concern over the incident and urged upon the police to ascertain the identity of the culprit.

  The party spokesperson in a statement said that the alert CRPF Jawans deployed at the residence of Peerzada  foiled the attempt and arrested one person, who has reportedly been lodged in PS Achabal for interrogation, but the identity of the said person was yet to be disclosed, Spokesperson said.

The Spokesperson urged upon the higher ups in Police Department to investigate into the matter to unearth the conspiracy behind the attempts to break security of Peerzada’s house, which is matter of serious concern, needs to be probed inorder to ensure that no untoward incident takes place in future.

Congress Party demanded immediate probe into the incident and urge upon the Government to ensure adequate security to Peerzada Mohd. Sayeed, Spokesperson added. (CNS)
