Top JeM militant killed in Lethpora gunfight: Army

PULWAMA: A top JeM militant was killed in a gunfight at Lethpora of Awantipora area in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday, army said.

An army spokesperson said that based on a specific intelligence in the area of Hatwar, Awantipora, a joint specific operation was launched today by 50 RR.

During the operation the mastermind of Sunjawan attack and Lethpora attack, Jaish-e-Mohammed operational commander Mufti Waqas has been killed, he said.(CNS)
