Baramulla : The security forces Thursday claimed to have arrested three associates of Laskhar-e-Toiba, a militant outfit from main town Baramulla in northern belt of Kashmir.
Three local Over Ground Workers (OGWs) of LeT were appended by police and security forces within main town Baramulla, a police spokesman said.
In a statement issued to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), police said that three over ground workers (OGWs) of LeT outfit were arrested within main town Baramulla on Thursday by joint team of Jammu and Kashmir police, 46 RR unit of Army and 53 BN of CRPF.
Besides arms and ammunition, police said some documents were also recovered from their possession and said they were working for LeT outfit.
Police identified the apperhned OGWs as, Sajjad Ahmad Gojri, son of Bashir Ahmad Gojree of Khanpura Baramulla, Nasir Ahmad Sheikh, son of Ghulam Hassan Sheikh of Khanpura Baramulla and Junaid Farooq, son of Farooq Ahmad Dar of Khanpura Baramulla.
In this regard, police said a case under FIR number 55/2020 stands registered in Police Station Baramulla and further investigation has been taken up—(KNO)
