Srinagar: United Jihad Council (UJC) chief Syed Salahuddin has paid glorious tributes to slain Hizb-ul-Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani on his third anniversary.
According to a Hizb statement issued to GNS, Syed Salahuddin while chairing the Hizb Command Council meet said: “The sacrifices of martyrs will never go waste and the blood of Burhan Wani will yield results.”
“India’s atrocities, intransigence and continuous denial of the ground realities on Kashmir forced a young boy Burhan Wani to choose the path of armed resistance,” Salahuddin, who is also the chief of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen, said.
He said Burhan “exposed India” through social media and made a unique place in the hearts of the freedom loving people. “Burhan Wani fought for Islam and freedom. He had no global agenda,” he said.
Syed Salahuddin appealed Kashmiris across the globe to organize events in memory of Burhan Wani.
“No power on earth can suppress the freedom sentiments of the people of Kashmir,” he said. (GNS)
