SRINAGAR: Scores of students from South Kashmir’s Tral and Shopian towns held massive protest rallies in their respective towns today against the killing of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar by the state military and the Buddhist majority and the criminal salience maintained by international community over this massacre.
Class work was boycotted and hundreds of students of Degree College Tral, Boys Higher Secondary School and MTI assemble to hold protests against the Myanmar government, also reports of clashes were received from various parts between protesters and forces in South Kashmir.
Protest was also held in the many parts of the valley including the capital by the students of different Government Higher Sec. Schools and colleges today.
