SRINAGAR: Scores students of Board of Technical Education (BOTE) protests against the authorities for holding the 6 months exam in one year today at press colony Srinagar.
Amid anti- BOTE slogans, protesting students said that the IT authorities have ordered their own guidelines without consulting any student.
Students said, “We used to give our exam every 6 months after, which was not wasting our much time. In the recent order of BOTE we are being asked to give exam after a wait of one year, which is spoiling our carrier said Riyaz Ul Hassan a protester, student”.
They said those students who had a backlog in any subject he is being hanged till one year passes.
Protesting students said without informing any student they issued an order, which resulted huge mantel torture to IT students.
The protesting students have been visiting the Press Colony for last 4 days only to demand the matter solved.
The students said they have given their exam 2 months before but according to them the result is yet to get declared by the BOTE which resulted huge academic loss of their carrier.
The students asked Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mehooba Mufti and Technical Education minister Imran Raza Ansari to intervene into the matter.
