Baramulla : The number of families who are stuck in parts of Jammu division have appealed the government of Jammu and Kashmir to allow them to move towards their destinations as they are running out of money and other essential items.

Talking to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the residents said people from various parts of Kashmir, who had moved to Jammu some three months back are running out to essential stock and want to return home early.

They claimed that most of the families are suffering badly due to lockdown and don’t have the availability of ration, medicine, cash and other necessities of life.

The aggrieved families also told KNO that the government of Jammu and Kashmir should allow them to move towards their destinations on humanitarian grounds as they stated that they’re engulfed by the mounting fear of coronavirus pandemic.

They also said that the holy month of Ramadhan is approaching and they can’t sustain with the very little resources. “Our destination is very near as compared to others stuck outside J&K. Authorities should consider our demands at an earliest and allow us to go back to our homes under necessary protocols,” they said—(KNO)
