Says Kashmir resolution will guarantee a bright future for the people of subcontinent
SRINAGAR: Reminding New Delhi and Islamabad of the fact that unarmed innocent civilians residing on both the sides of LOC and International border have been paying for their lives due to animosity between the two countries, AIP Supremo and MLA Langate Er. Rasheed has expressed deep concern over continuous shelling in many sectors in the border areas.
In a statement issued today Er. Rasheed said that just to prove other side wrong and aggressor on eve of annual session of UN General Assembly, borders are being kept hot through the blood of innocent civilians.
He said “Loss of lives on either side of the borders due to heavy shelling should wakeup the conscience of New Delhi and Islamabad and all those who matter must understand that it is not they but the poor citizens who get destroyed, loose their lives and crops and get rendered houseless. The animosity will take both countries nowhere and the rulers must not forget that to protect lives and properties of their people is the primary duty for which people vote them to power”.
Er. Rasheed reiterated that Kashmir dispute is the mother of all evils and exchange of every word between India and Pakistan in the ongoing UN General Assembly Session reflects a pre occupied and pre decided mindset in both New Delhi and Islamabad.
He said “It is unfortunate that despite knowing the outcome of continuous shelling good sense seems to be a distant dream that could prevail to stop humanity from bleeding. The media trials have kept the sensible voices hostage and the breaking news, fake videos and sensational claims have destroyed the constituency of peace especially in India and New Delhi and Islamabad must introspect and realize that resolving Kashmir dispute would guarantee a bright future for the people of the subcontinent”.
