Srinagar: G B Pant hospital is one of the renowned children hospital of the valley which sees a crowd of thousands on a daily basis. The area around has been a spot of rush and traffic congestion. Considering this some small gangs operates in and around the hospital for thievery.
Police station Ram Munshi Bagh had received complaints about the same and took prompt actions in the past.
On the same lines on 02/03/2020 a written complaint was received by Police Station RM Bagh to the effect that the battery worth ₹5000 has been stolen by unknown person from Auto Rikshaw bearing no plate – JK01N – 6063, parked in the parking of the G. B. Pant hospital.
Immediately case was registered under relevant sections of law and investigation was set in motion . Police Station RM Bagh solved the case in record time of one day and arrested all the three accused on 03/03/2020 along with the recovery of stolen property.
This will certainly help in restoring faith of people in Police and also act as a big deterrent to all those gangs who commit theft in the area of G. B. Pant hospital. Action of Srinagar police has time and again reiterated its promise to protect
“Life, Property and Honour”.
