Srinagar Police arrested two gamblers at Dal Colony Bemina

Srinagar: On 08-03-2020, Srinagar Police continuing its drive against social evils , Police Party of Police Post Bemina led by Incharge Police Post Bemina Sub-Inspector Shri Sheikh Adil raided a gambling site at Dal Colony Bemina and arrested 02 persons while gambling namely:-

1) Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat S/o Gh Qadir Bhat
R/o Sabdan Galwanpora.

2) Gulzar Ahmad Sheikh S/o Gh Mohidin Sheikh
R/o Dal Colony

From the spot stake money of Rs 8,200 & playing cards were recovered from them.

In this connection case FIR No.31/2020 U/S 13 Gambling Act has been registered in Police Station Parimpora & investigations set into motion.

This is continuation to efforts of Srinagar Police to curb the social crimes.

General public has applauded this police action.
