Srinagar City faces water logging, authorities unmoved

SRINAGAR : The water logging on the streets, lanes by-lanes in Srinagar gives tough time to the pedestrians.

The people alleged that authorities have failed to put men and machinery of the concerned department to fix the drainage system. “We are suffering to move in and around the city as the roads are flooded with water”, said Mushtaq Ahmad, a pedestrian.

They demand that the water logging on the road of city should be cleared to prevent inconvenience to the movement of people.

Pertinently, post snowfall the Srinagar city is witnessing huge water logging.
