Poonch: An army soldier was injured in a mine blast along the line-of-control (LoC) at Nangi Tekri area in KG sector in Poonch district on Saturday, sources said.
They said that at around 1700 hours, a mine blast took place in the area in which one soldier namely Sepoy Takdeer Singh suffered injuries in his left foot.
The blast, the sources told GNS, took place after the soldier accidentally while stepped on an anti-personnel mine while patrolling in the area. While the official confirmation is awaited, the soldier was airlifted to army command hospital in Udhapmur for treatment. (GNS)
