Social activist Qurat-ul-Ain Masoodi quits Apni Party

Srinagar : Social activist Qurat-ul-Ain Masoodi on Sunday quit the Apni party stating that she did not involve herself in any political activity nor participated in any party event.

In a statement, issued she said she had joined the party around 6 months ago but did not involve herself in any political activity.

She said over the past few months she has realised that she can extend her services to the people through social work that she has been doing for the past 15 years.

“I have realised that politics is not my cup of tea, therefore, I have decided to quit the party and return to my professional engagements as a social activist,” she said—(KNO)
