Srinagar : The Srinagar Municipal Corporation Thursday sealed an illegal structure at Badshah Nagar Natipora area of Srinagar outskirts.
The sealing took place in presence of Enforcement Officer who along with the field staff sealed the structure.
SMC acted after it was reported in a section of media that an illegal structure is being coming up in the area.
A top official from SMC said that it will act tough against all the violators who will not apply for proper building permissions and resort to illegal constructions.
Interestingly, there are various structures that are coming up illegally without any building permission.
“No illegal construction or any structure coming up beyond the sanctioned building plan will be allowed and will face demolition at any stage after getting into the notice of Authorities,” SMC said.
“All the ward Officers, Enforcement Officers including field staff have been strictly directed by Commissioner SMC Athar Aamir Khan to swung into action at an appropriate time and keep a tight vigil in ongoing constructions in the city to check the status of their permissions while doing any sort of commercial or residential construction.” (KNT)
