Pulwama : After six years, a mini-secretariat in Tral town has been awaiting completion with no work carried out in the last three years.

They said that the mini-secretariat was sanctioned with an aim to provide all services in Tral and to cut down travel time as district headquarters Pulwama is around 30 Kms from Tral.
They said that a land which was under horticulture department was given for the purpose of the mini Secretariat but now over six years have passed and the project is nowhere near completion.
They said that even after completion of five years only 30 percent work has been done and work is on complete halt for the last three years.
Bashir Ahmad, a local, said that the residents of far flung areas of Tral are facing a lot of problems in order to reach Pulwama to get their work done.
“If mini Secretariat will be made functional at Tral, then they can avail benefit of every service at Tral only which will save their time and money as well,“ he said.
Shabir Ahmad, another local, said that Tral is around 30 kms from Pulwama and if facilities would have been available under one roof at Tral, it would save them time and money as well.
