Several students injured in Kulgam clashes

KULGAM: Several students were injured after clashes erupted between protesting students of Government Degree College and security forces in Kulgam district of south Kashmir.

Reports said that forces resorted to pellet firing and tear gas shelling to disperse students who were protesting against the student arrests.

Reports said that during the clashes a video journalist and a student were hit by pellets in their eyes adding that both were shifted to SMHS hospital in Srinagar.
