The unfortunate happenings which happen in early nineties was the ugly mass migration of Kashmiri Hindus .Its fact that all kashmiri Pandits did not left because all were not asked and instructed by the then Governor of J&K .I do agree to the fact that losing roots is more painful and is unbearable loss more than any pain of the life.
But why and how it happened ?
Kashmir conflict is not only the problem of one particular community but sums to overall Kashmir and Kashmiri’s as nation. If you will refer to the history of Kashmir since 1931 all communities have stood together neck to neck for Kashmir and Kashmiryat .
But this has happened first time in history of Kashmir that one can see increasing hatred between two communities since past few year and if things are not settled between the two communities itself, without playing and inducing politics of greed and lust of power and if things are being carried like wise i am sure it will reflect to the highest of hatred and tension which will lead to the never wished division of two souls of the same soil and that certainly will upset and annoy the sentiments of people who are emotionally involve to each other .
Kashmir conflict is not a problem of any particular community. Since Muslims remain in majority in Kashmir, thus the number of self determination activists were more of Muslims which unfortunately became the tool for agencies and power greedy political forces to suppress the struggle and they played it wisely by throwing a particular community out of the state just to give People’s struggle a communal name and they succeeded In doing so .
Initially they spread the notion that the struggle is only to eliminate a particular community when they were knowing that this struggle will suppress their hallow political agenda and greed of power by mission of struggling and fighting for “promised self determination”The slogan against the illegal occupation by suppressor of both the sides. Now the shoe pinch’s when i see both communities are being used as a tool by these agencies just to show the world that Kashmirs are divided. When the matter of fact is that we are bonded with the bond of sentiments, emotions, culture ,etc.
Now the question arises Do you also stand for this so called separate township ?
I am afraid and some how understand that this is again happening under the same agenda of suppressing the struggle by playing this political drama were my brothers, sisters and kids will be surrounded by huge ugly structured walls ,which will not be less than a jail for the people who belongs to us and we belong to them .In my mohallah there are few KP family residing with us without any so called security cover and political packages .Not only in my Mohallah almost in every part of province but, true in small number .
The point is Who stands for their security ?
No! Not security forces with guns even not any ugly concrete wall but of course the love and affection of centuries old neighborhood and brotherhood
Society, culture ,ethos all can’t be followed under the shadow of so called security guns and brick walls .Let we live together for each other for Kashmir and for Kashmiryat .We all must stand together for our mother land. For our stand of right of self-determination .
Just think over what i wrote and if you agree to it draw a line of acceptance.i am sure who so ever will read this column will for sure agree to me .Kashmir needs you for the ongoing struggle not for separate colonies and separate township .You are part of this society only when you will be the part of this society .
