BANDIPORA: Scores of Rehbar-e-Taleem (ReT) teachers Wednesday staged protest demonstration at deputy commissioner office Bandipora in favour of their demand of release their salaries , implementation of transfer policy.

Amid slogans against the government, teachers were demanding release of salaries of teachers working under Sarve Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA). They said that they are forced to survive without salaries, which is a sheer injustice.

The protesting teachers asked that how can they concentrate on teaching when they don’t have single penny for bread at home.

“It is not only we who are suffering, behind us there is our dependent family” they said.
