Srinagar : 22 persons including a 12 days old new born baby, who were hospitalized, after testing positive for Coronavirus last month, were discharged from JVC SKIMS Bemina hospital, after repeatedly testing negative for the infection, they had contracted.
Principal JVC SKIMS, Dr Reyaz Untoo told new agency KNT that 22 patients were discharged from the hospital after their recovery from lethal Covid-19 infection. He added that these patients hail from different parts of Valley. These include 12 days old new born babay.
He said that out of these 22 patients, 10 reside in Kashmir capital Srinagar, 5 Budgam, 2 Shopian, 2 Kupwara and one each from Baramulla, Bandipora and Kulgam.
“477 patients tested positive for Covid-19 have been admitted in the hospital so for out of which 374 patients successfully recovered while 104 are under observation,” Dr Untoo said. (KNT)
