Srinagar : Former IAS officer turned politician Shah Faesal on Friday extended support to Awami Ittehad Party (AIP) chief Abdul Rasheed Sheikh for election to the Baramulla Lok Sabha seat in Jammu and Kashmir.
Shah said that in the present circumstances in the state, Engineer Rashid is the best choice among the candidates who are in fray for the Baramulla Parliamentary constituency.
“In the given circumstances Er. Rashid @mlalangate seems to be the best choice among candidates for Baramula Parliamentary Constituency. My vote is for him. #pyar kiya to darna kya,” tweeted Shah.
In the social media post he said, ” My vote is for him.”
When Faesal resigned from bureaucracy and decided to join politics, Rashid had offered him to join Awami Ittehad Party. However, Faesal went on to form his own political outfit Jammu and Kashmir Peoples movement.
Recently, Rashid had asked Faesal to support him in the upcoming Parliamentary election. (GNS)
