SRINAGAR: Metrology department predicts that there will be light rain and thundershowers may occur during the next three days at isolated places in Kashmir Valley under the influence of a fresh Western Disturbance (WD), which is active in the region.
MeT official told PTK that the night temperature at world famous ski resort of Gulmarg, about 55 km from here in north Kashmir, surged and settled at 8 degree, which is 6 notches above normal, melting snow on the slopes and other higher peaks.
The summer capital, Srinagar was the hottest place in the region after night temperate surged 3 degree and settled at 13.5 degree, which are about 6 notches above normal.
