Poplar trees irks residents of irrigation Colony in Sumbal

SUMBAL: Scores of Russian poplar trees in irrigation Colony in Sumbal is taking heavy tool on the health of thousands of residents.

Residents said that despite high court order, the trees have not been removed by the concern department due to which people are irked as they are suffering immensely. They said that the pollen from these trees have caused respiratory problems.

The pollen from these trees have also become a source of nuisance. They demands official to take immediate steps to address the genuine grievance of the locals.
