Kulgam, : Police foiled a burglary attempt by arresting 2 burglars and recovered some tools used for committing the burglary.
During the night intervening between 29/30 May 2021, Police patrol party of Police post Mirbazar Led by I/C PP Mirbazar Sub Inspector Imtiyaz Ahmad after receiving the information from reliable sources that some suspicious movements were spotted at Malpora Chowk.
Police party in a swift action along with locals of Malipora reached the suspected spot and apprehended two persons namely, Rameez Ahmad Naik son of Ghulam Mohd Naik and Sumbhool Ahmad Yatoo son of Abdul Majeed Yatoo both the residents of Gufbal Qaimoh who were breaking the wall of a shop.
Regarding the incident Case with FIR number 120/2021 U/S 457, 380, 511 IPC stands registered at Police Station Qazigund and further Investigation is going on to nab the other persons involved in planning and execution of the burglary.
Public is requested to extend cooperation to the Police and come forward with any information regarding anti-social elements in their vicinity.(KNT)
