Police foil National Conference march towards Raj Bhavan

Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday foiled the march of National Conference towards Raj Bhavan against the recent killing spree in Kashmir.

Several NC leaders and activists tried to march from Nawa-e-Subh headquarters to Raj Bhavan Srinagar.

However, a large posse of police and paramilitary forces intercepted them near Radio Kashmri Srinagar.

Several NC leaders and activists were detained and bundled in police vans.

The march was led by NC general secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar against the killings of seven civilians in a blast at the site of a gunfight in Kulgam on Sunday.
