Police arrest ‘Imam’ for drug peddling, Fukki recovered in Pattan

PATTAN: Continuing its drive against the drug peddling, Police have arrested a person namely Mushtaq Ahmed Mia @ DC son of Late Gh Hassan of  Pattan who is  imam at Pattan  market with consignment of fukki.

Police said that in this regard a case FiR no.168/2018 u/s 8/22NDPS registered against him and investigation is taken up. Police added that the person is main culprit   for supplying fukki along the NHW   to the youth of the locality.

The locals have appreciated the Police action against these drug peddlers and assured full support in eradicating the drug menace.
