SRINAGAR: Reacting over National Conference (NC) Vice President and Former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah’s Tweet in which he cites memory of Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) President and Former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti short, Additional Spokesperson PDP, Tahir Syeed accuses NC for prevailing situation in Kashmir.
Syeed took to twitter, hits back against Omar Abdullah by writing, “The people of Kashmir are victim of @JKNC_ ‘s failures and dual polices since decades of their rule .And you must not forget we people of Kashmir are still bearing the brunt of your mistakes and compromises”

Syeed did not stop here, however in his another tweet, he made NC responsible for prevailing gun and graveyards in Valley. He tweets,”If @JKNC_ had respected the mandate of 1987 elections and would have not changed their political stands as per their convenience, the valley would have not seen gun and graveyards.”

Penitently Omar Abdullah earlier in the day has tweeted,”How short Ms Mufti’s memory is! She forgets that she was the architect & beneficiary (it kept her allies in good humour) for her entire period in office. She is in no position to criticise anyone for ‘relentless violence’.”

Worth to mention, Omar reacted in response to the Mehbooba’s tweet, in which she said, “Pushing youth to the wall will be counter productive. Centre must intervene in withdrawing cases against students & AMU authorities must revoke their suspension .The respective State governments outside JK should be sensitive to the situation & prevent further alienation .”

Mehbooba Mufti further said that it will be a travesty to punish them for remembering their former colleague who was a victim of relentless violence in Kashmir.
