PDD fails to repair damaged transformer in Bandipora village

Sumbal : The Power Development Department (PDD) has miserably failed to repair the damaged transformer of Bon-Mohalla Inderkoot village of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district for the past several days days, forcing the villagers to reel under darkness.

The residents told, that the transformer in their area developed technical snag almost several days ago, but the authorities have failed to repair it since then, causing hardships to the people.

“We are being forced to reel under darkness from the past several days as the authorities don’t even bother to look into the matter,” they said

They appealed to the district administration as well as the officials in the PDD department to look into the matter at an earliest.
