“Nursing orderly performs doctor’s duty at Hajin

Bandipora: In absence of a specialized doctor, the New Type Primary Health Centre (NTPHC) at Vijpara village of Hajin of this north Kashmiri’s Bandipora district is run by Nursing Orderly’s.

Locals said that two months ago, a medical assistant was transferred from the area but since then no posting was done. The post is still vacant and nobody is there to take care of patients.

The locals threatened to hit to roads if any doctor is not posted at the Centre. “This Centre gives no benefits to us as we are forced to take our patients.

BMO Hajin Dr Tariq said that a medical assistant will be made available in the Centre in coming few day.(CNS)
