North Kashmir : HM militant arrested in Bandipora

Bandipora: Security forces here on today arrested a militant affiliated with Hizbul Mujahideen from Ajas area of Bandipora district here in North Kashmir.
An official said that, upon receiving a tip-off about the movement of militant in the area, a naka was set up in Ajas Bandipora, by 13RR and Bandipora Police. 
He said that, the move of the militant was kept under constant surveillance, as the militant closed in, he was arrested.
The militant identified as Sarfaraz Ahamd Sheer son of Mohd Yousuf resident of Quil Muqam Bandipora. 
Sarfaraz was active since October 2014 and was affiliated with Hizbul Mujahideen outfit. He said arms and ammunition were recovered from his possession. (KNS)
