Srinagar : The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has raided the under-construction property of jailed human rights activist Khurram Parvez in Dhondosa village of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Earlier, his Sonwar Srinagar-based office was also raided in connection with an alleged militant funding case.
Local sources told that a raid was conducted by a joint team of NIA officers, J&K Police and paramilitary personnel.
NIA has already stated that the case pertains to the collection and transfer of funds by certain NGOs, trusts, societies and organizations to sustain anti-India activities in Kashmir Valley.
Khuram Parvez who is an eminent human rights activist had been arrested in 2021 and since then he is languishing in jail.
