SRINAGAR: National Investigation Agency Wednesday picked up three sons and the son-in law of Hizbul Mujhadeen Chief Syed Salahuddin in connection with funding case, sources said.
Sources added that NIA detained the elder son of Syed Salahuddin, Shakil Ahmed, Javaid Ahmed and Muhammad Moieed. NIA also picked up Muhammad Umar, the son-in-law of of Salahuddin.
Reports said that all the four were detained and questioned by NIA team at their Srinagar based office.
Sources added that Javaid Ahmed was released after questioning while the rest of the family members were still in the custody of NIA till the reports last came in.
Pertinently, Shahid Yousuf another son of Hizb Chief is languishing in Tihar Jail. (CNS)
