Jorhat : A team of 14 officers and personnel of Myanmar Air Force made a two-day visit to Air Force Station Jorhat on 27 and 28 May 2019, as a defence co-operation plan between India and Myanmar. The aim of the visit was to understand the ethos of Indian Air Force (IAF) and share work culture with each other.
The team visited various sections and formations in the station to get a glimpse of work processes of the IAF. The team imbibed the working culture of the IAF with keen interest, as reported. They were impressed at the high standards of professionalism displayed by the IAF.
Air Commodore SK Verma VSM, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Jorhat interacted with the team. Senior Officers of the station were also present during the interaction. The Myanmarese team expressed their sincere gratitude to the Air Officer for facilitating them with an opportunity to know about the IAF. Both sides appreciated the need for increased cooperation between the Air Forces as neighboring nations.
