Baramulla: North Kashmir – On the second consecutive day of his visit to his parliamentary constituency, Member of Parliament Er Rashid continued his development drive, addressing critical healthcare and infrastructure needs in the region.In a significant move, Er Rashid sanctioned a ₹23 lakh C-Arm machine for Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Kupwara, following up on his commitment to enhancing medical services in the district. This essential imaging device will enable the hospital to provide more advanced diagnostic and surgical care, particularly benefiting patients requiring orthopedic and trauma-related procedures.Er Rashid also visited NTPHC Trehgam and Kralpora, inspecting the facilities and interacting with medical staff to understand their challenges. In a much-appreciated gesture, he allocated ₹12 lakh from the MPLADS fund for the purchase of a USG machine for Kralpora Hospital, ensuring that residents in the area would have better access to diagnostic tools. Additionally, he assured the hospital of further support, promising to provide essential medical equipment and ambulances to improve emergency healthcare services.Beyond healthcare, the MP supervised macadamization works in various parts of North Kashmir, ensuring road development projects continued without delay. His active involvement in overseeing these works is part of a larger effort to improve road connectivity in the region, particularly in areas prone to harsh weather conditions.
