Militants killed in Awantipora ambush identified

Srinagar: The militants were killed in an ambush by a joint party of police and army.

Police on Sunday identified the two militants killed in a shootout in Awantipora area of the south Kashmir’s Pulwama district as Rayees Ahmad and Farooq Ahmad Hurra.
An official said that Rayees and Hurra were residents of Below village of Pulwama and Nazneenpora village of Shopian respectively.

The militants were killed in an ambush by a joint party of police and army.
