SRINAGAR: Militants on Saturday attacked the police station Yaripora in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Official sources told GNS that militants lobbed a grenade on police station Yaripora. “However, there was no official report of any injury”. Meanwhile, the militant outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) has claimed the responsibility of the attack.
A spokesperson of JeM, Mohammad Hassan in a statement issued to GNS said that its cadres carried out the grenade attack on the police station Yaripora “in which a number of cops were injured”. (GNS)
